Ken is an expert concept and production artist, specializing in characters but with a generalist's skillset as well. His areas of expertise include 2D concept and design, 3D modeling, texturing, animation, rigging, lighting and rendering. He earned a BFA in Illustration from BYU and has 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry spanning video games, TV, film, and advertising. His work has been published in over 18 game titles, as well as TV series and in numerous magazines and books.
Ken spent six years working at Electronic Arts Los Angeles as a Character Artist, Lead Character Artist, and Character Art Director. He started focusing exclusively on freelance work in late 2008. Since that time he has been designing characters for the likes of Zoic, Microsoft, Activision, and Electronic Arts, along with some indie studios. He has created concept and book illustrations and done character and cinematic work for games such as Transformers 3, Medal of Honor, Saboteur, DC Universe Online, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Call of Juarez, commercial projects for Blizzard, Mountain Dew, Coke, SmartWater, Nascar, and the NFL as well as creating creatures and characters for the TV series' 'Fringe','V', 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', and Steven Spielberg's recently debuted 'Falling Skies'.
